About
Indira Thompson is a native of New Providence, The Bahamas. After graduating from The College of The Bahamas (Presently The University of The Bahamas), she attended Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in Boca Raton, Florida where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, Computer Systems. While at FAU, she joined Delta Sigma Pi, a professional fraternity Phi Beta chapter, served as President of the Bahamas Student Association and worked with The FAU Student Government organizing and promoting events for the university's student body.
Upon her return to Nassau, Indira worked in the offshore banking industry for twelve years; after which, she joined the Property Owners Association office staff of a private residential community in western New Providence where she served as Office Manager. Indira is a charter member of The Rotary Club of South Ocean and a dog lover!
Currently a member of Bahamas Faith Ministries, Indira enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, sewing and traveling.
Indira is married and has one daughter.
